GCO Celebrated Medal of Honor Day with Clint Romesha and Military Families Program

GCO joined the Military Families Program (MFP) to celebrate Medal of Honor Day by hosting a talk with a recipient of the nation’s highest military honor, NY Times bestselling author Clint Romesha.

In a wide ranging conversation with GCO Ambassador Jack Mandaville, Romesha spoke candidly about his military service, war experience and being a dad. He also answered questions from service members, veterans and spouses. The talk opened MFP Tampa’s networking event.

Romesha received the Medal of Honor for leading the counter attack that kept Combat Outpost Keating from being overrun by enemy fighters in the Battle of Kamdesh. He detailed the battle in his best selling book, “Red Platoon: A True Story of American Valor.”
